Join us this fall for some fun seasonal Big Island events!
There’s never a shortage of fun things to do here on the Big Island. From volunteer opportunities to one-of-a-kind festivals and cultural performances, there’s plenty to do during your say this fall.
What’s coming up? Here’s a list of Big Island events you won’t want to miss this October.
If volunteering is your thing:
Join us to learn about weed control and native plant restoration. You’ll play an important role in protecting important and threatened native ecosystems.
This event is best for volunteers 12 years of age and older as you’ll hike at least one mile over rough, uneven ground. Sturdy walking shoes and long pants are required, along with gear for variable weather conditions (be prepared for sun or rain with a hat, raincoat, sunscreen, etc.). You’ll also need to bring plenty of water and lunch.
Come join us for a wonderful opportunity to enjoy our National Park and participate in native forest recovery! Learn more here.
If you love to dance, shop and enjoy great food
