Welcome to our Volcano Village Hawaii resort. Here, you’ll find exquisite accommodation options hidden beneath the canopy of the beautiful Hawaiian rainforest. Our property is secluded and remote, perfect for those looking to disconnect from the fast pace of everyday life.
We offer three different types of lodging – luxury, moderate, and budget. Our basic rooms at Volcano Hale are perfect for backpackers and travelers on a budget. Lokahi Lodge, our moderate option, features affordable and comfortable rooms with private baths.
Our luxury option is Chalet Kilauea Hotel which offers unique rooms inspired by the rainforest. Each room is individually designed with the beautiful surrounding rainforest in mind. When is the best time to visit Volcano Village, Hawaii?
It’s always a great time to visit. A diverse schedule of events and activities runs all year long. Plus, if you’re a return visitor traveling at a different time of year, you’ll get to see and experience so many new things.
Summer in Hawaii is busy so it’s a great time to travel with young kids. Airfare is more expensive, though, so make your reservations early.
Fall is a nice time to visit. Skies are clear and there are typically fewer crowds. There is, however, an elevated chance of thundershowers. These are typically short-lived and won’t interrupt your trip.
Need to get away from the cold and snow? Winter can be a great time to escape to Hawaii. Plus, there are several fun suffering events to attend.
Finally, in the spring, winter crowds diminish, and vegetation is lush after the rainy season. The weather is typically dry and pleasant. On the Big Island, Hilo’s historic Merrie Monarch Festival, a celebration honoring King David Kalakaua, takes place every April. Additionally, the Honolulu Festival, which celebrates the relationship between Hawaii and the Pacific Rim region, is held every March. * Double check event dates. Some may change due to COVID-19.
